Can SKS take mags?

The Norinco SKS is a Chinese variant, some of which accept AK magazines while others do not. The AK magazines hold more rounds than the traditional 10-round stripper clip used with the SKS. The Norinco SKS magazine well can be modified to accept AK-style magazines using a few gunsmith techniques and tools. sks magazine

Are SKS and AK 47 magazines the same?

The biggest difference between the two rifles is the ease of reloading. The SKS feeds from a fixed 10-round magazine that can be refreshed with stripper clips. While aftermarket removable magazines exist, they aren’t as reliable or as easy to replace as AK mags. sks magazine for sale

Do SKS have detachable magazines?

The SKS doesn’t meet these requirements. It does fire an intermediate cartridge, and it has the mandated range, but it does not have a removable box magazine (unless modified) nor is it automatic or select fire – it only functions as a semi-automatic or self loading rifle (one round fired per trigger pull). sks magazine in stock
